Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival to Lima
Reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Does not include meals
Day 2:
City Tour and Gold Museum
You will be picked up from your hotel at 9:00 a.m. The city tour begins with a visit to the Plaza de Armas, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Along two sides are arcades with shops: Portal de Escribanos and Portal de Botoneros. In the center of the Plaza is a bronze fountain dating from 1560. Located in the Plaza de la Catedral, note the lavishly carved stalls, silver covered altars surrounded by fine wood carvings, mosaic covered walls bearing the coats of arms of Lima and Pizarro. Next to the Cathedral is the Archbishop's Palace. Next, we will visit the 17th century Monastery of San Francisco, this is famous for the Sevillian tiles and coffered ceiling in the cloisters, the catacombs under the church and part of the monastery are well worth seeing, you will visit the colonial streets in the center of the city, and modern Lima with the district of San Isidro and Miraflores. We will also visit the Gold Museum of Peru, this excellent collection includes pre-Columbian gold, silver and bronze, ceramics, textiles, mummies, etc. On the upper level there is a remarkable collection of weapons with an impressive display from the Spanish colonial era. Day 3:
Visit Nazca Lines
You will be picked up from your hotel in Lima at 5:00 in the morning, we will provide a driver and a minivan, the trip takes about 6 hours each way (round trip). On the way we will visit the Site Museum, the tomb of Maria Reiche. Next, we will stop and take a look at Nazca. Throughout the cobbled desert there are a large number of lines, not only parallels and geometric figures, but also designs such as a dog, a huge monkey, a bird with a wingspan of more than 100 meters, a spider and a tree. These lines, which represent a kind of pre-Inca astronomical calendar, are best seen from the air. We are going to take a half hour flight over the lines (plane ticket included). Day 4
Lima / Cusco
Transfer to Lima airport for the flight to Cusco (airfare not included). Upon arrival at Cusco airport. Reception and transfer to the hotel, where you will receive an aromatic coca tea stimulating for altitude, you will have the morning free to rest and we also suggest that you have a light meal, either at your hotel or in one of the surrounding restaurants, in the morning. night we are going to depart on a city tour (entrance to the archaeological centers and museums included) we are going to visit the Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, the Koricancha (temple of the sun) and, in addition, we are going to make a tour bordering archaeological centers such as the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Q'ENKO, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay, tour ends at approximately 18:30 in the main square so that you can have dinner in one of the exquisite restaurants in the area, then stay overnight free of charge tonight. Day 5:
Sacred Valley Full Day
Breakfast. You will be picked up at 8:15 am. Full day excursion to the Urubamba Valley, visiting: the colorful Indian market in Pisac, where a mix of color and tradition can be seen, plus you will have a good opportunity to test our bargaining skills at your leisure to interact with local artisans to buy your handmade souvenirs. The Valley is at a distance of 31 km (19 miles) from Cusco, and at an altitude of 2,970 m (9,700 ft), Pisac is located at the entrance to the Sacred Valley and followed by Ollantaytambo, the oldest continuously occupied city in the Americas. . The narrow streets of Ollantaytambo, along with its canals that have not changed since the Inca times, evoke its ancestral heritage, then we will have lunch in a typical restaurant and then the last visit will be to the Chinchero market. Chinchero is believed to be the mythical cradle of the rainbow. Its main draw for tourism is its colorful Sunday market which is much less tourist oriented than the Pisac market. At the end, the return to the main square of Cusco at approximately 6:30 pm. Day 6:
Machu Picchu and One Night at Aguas Calientes
Early breakfast and collection to go to the train station to go to Machu Picchu, the trip lasts about 4 hours. During the trip we will have an impressive view of the landscapes of the Sacred Valley of Urubamba and the Amazon jungle that provides you with a small clue of how much Peru has to offer. Upon arrival at the small town of Aguas Calientes, you will have to go to the bus station to the "Citadela de Machu Picchu" (Only 20 minutes drive) to receive a professional guided tour of this huge Historic Sanctuary, then you will have some free time. to explore the area on your own and then have your buffet lunch at the selected restaurant (included), once agreed, we will go to the town of Aguas Calientes to relax in the hot springs or simply overnight at the selected hotel in Aguas Calientes. Day 7:
Machu Picchu / Cusco
Breakfast and rest of the day free on your own (entrance and bus fare to Machu Picchu is not included in today's day) return to Cusco in the afternoon. Pick up of guests
Machu Picchu Vip can pick you up from your hotel, as long as it’s in the Historical Center of Cusco. Your guide will coordinate the pickup time in the briefing session, but please keep in mind that the time may vary between 20 and 35 minutes due to traffic.
Group Tours
Group tours are made up of different types of people, then physical conditions and ages can vary. By agreeing to be part of a group tour, you also accept that some people may be faster or slower than you. Therefore, each person can go at their own pace on the route. It may be the case that a group wishes to modify the tour; however, the guide will be the one who decides, after consulting with all the participants, if such modifications are possible.
Strikes in cusco
Are usually common in Peru, and this may interrupt some of our tours. Roads can be blocked, and train tracks can be taken over. However, we will try to keep your trip as originally planned, even if it means leaving the night before the scheduled date. Under these circumstances, tours may also be canceled. In case of changes or cancellations, everything will be coordinated with you by our operations department. Your safety is our highest priority, and our decisions will be made to protect it.
Lost objects
