Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival in La Paz, Bolivia
Pick up upon arrival at Lima airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight. DOES NOT INCLUDE MEALS
Day 2:
City Tour and Valle de La Luna
Breakfast, and then we pick you up to visit a typical Indian market, the famous witch doctor's market and the Colonial Church of San Francisco. The tour continues to Plaza Murillo, where the cathedral, the Government Palace and the National Congress buildings are located. Next, you will visit the famous colonial street "Calle Jaén", where interesting museum is grouped together, followed by a visit to the open-air museum of Tiwanaku culture. To change the landscape, the tour continues to the residential areas of Obrajes, Calacoto and La Florida. The tour ends with a visit to the Valley of the Moon, the only place where erosion has caused stone forms that give the feeling of being in a real lunar landscape. At the end of the transfer to the hotel. Overnight. Includes Breakfast and Lunch
Day 3:
Tiawanaku Full Day
72 km. from La Paz, we will visit a pre-Inca archaeological site "Tiwanaku". This place is known for its monuments and for its admirable lithic sculpture. Furthermore, it is one of the great monumental centers of native Andean cultures. In this archaeological capital of Bolivia, we can visit the semi-underground Temple, Kalasasaya, the Puerta del Sol, which has become a symbol of Bolivia, the Museum and the City, whose church was built in 1612, during the night. Includes Breakfast and Lunch
Day 4
La Paz / Puno
Transfer by land at the beginning of Lake Titicaca, to board the catamaran cruise, breakfast during the navigation to the Isla del Sol, the legendary birthplace of the Inca Empire. Visit the Inca Garden, the steps and the fountain followed by the Inti Wata Cultural Complex, such as the Ekako Metro Museum, the Titikaka traditional medicine and totora construction, the Pachamama terraces of Inca agriculture, a handicraft center, the hall and in the Intica Manco Kapac look for the largest variety of Andean camelids. In addition, the Inti Wata Complex on the Island of the Sun includes navigation aboard an immense Titikakatraditional ship for a panoramic visit to the Inca palace of Pilkokaina. Catamaran Cruise to the Copacabana Sanctuary, while enjoying lunch on board, transferring overland to Puno. Includes Breakfast and Lunch
Day 5:
Uros and Taquile Islalnds
You will be picked up from your accommodation at 6:30 am, to go to the port of Puno to take a tourist motor boat and to head towards the wonderful floating islands of the Uros. After a 1-hour boat ride, you will reach the island of Uros on Lake Titikaka. Fishermen and hunters inhabit the floating islands of the Uros. The inhabitants of the Uros are known as the "water tribe", because they have to build their own islands periodically by adding new layers of reeds, which grow in the lake, to create the conditions that ensure the islands to stay afloat. The dense roots that the plants form the support of the island. The roofs are waterproof and the houses are extremely humid from the surrounding water. They used it as homes and shopping centers for the natives, who used handmade boats from the same material as their means of transportation. At present, they speak Quechua and Aymara. After this exciting tour, you will be taken to Taquile Island, a place where the typical and rustic experience was evaluated, the place is full of color and the landscape, where they still maintain their customs, rituals, religious and folk traditions. In the town of Taquile we will taste a typical lunch of fresh fish (trout). There is also an artisan fair in the square that sells exceptional wool products that are of very good quality and a bit expensive. Taquile Island is famous for its artisan production, especially for its beautiful textiles. The island is narrow 1 km. wide and from 6 to 7. km long. The visit can be exhausting due to the altitude (13,000 feet above sea level). In Taquile there are numerous Inca and pre-Inca ruins, as well as Inca terraces. Day 6:
Puno / Cusco
Breakfast and transfer to the bus station so that you can take the trip to Cusco. We depart from Puno by guided bus to Puno, visiting on route the picturesque towns and archaeological sites such as Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, Sicuani, La Raya and Pukara. Lunch included in Sicuani. In the afternoon arrival in Cusco, reception and transfer to your hotel. Includes Breakfast and Lunch Additional fee if you want to travel by train. Only Monday, Wednesday and Friday, ask for availability
Day 7:
Cusco City Tour
Transfer from your hotel to the airport to take your flight to Cusco (FLIGHTS NOT INCLUDED) Reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel where you will receive an aromatic "coca tea" to acclimatize to the altitude, you will have the rest of the day free to rest and We also suggest taking a light lunch. In the afternoon, approximately 1:45 p.m., we will start the tour of the city of Cusco, where you will have the opportunity to visit 6 wonderful places. We will visit the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), we will also take a tour of archaeological centers such as the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay. The tour ends at 18:30 in the Plaza de Armas in Cusco so that you can have your dinner in the restaurants in the area. NOTE: * City tour: from 1:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. approx. Day 8:
Cusco / Machu Picchu
After your breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the train station that leaves for Aguas Calientes, the trip lasts about 4 hours. During the trip you will have an impressive view of the landscapes of the Sacred Valley in Urubamba and the Amazon jungle, showing a little of how much Peru has to offer. Upon arrival in the small town of Aguas Calientes, you will have to go to the bus station that will take you to the "Citadel of Machu Picchu" (only 20 minutes away) to start the guided tour of the historic Sanctuary, visiting the main square, the circular tower, the sacred solar clock, the royal rooms, the temple of the three windows and the cemeteries, after the guide you will have free time to explore the area on your own, at the agreed time we will return to Aguas Calientes where you can relax in the hot springs or just spend the night at your hotel. Includes Breakfast and Lunch
Day 9:
Machu Picchu / Cusco
Free day at your disposal, you can visit Machu Picchu again on your own (bus, entrance and guide not included this day). In the afternoon we will return to Cusco, reception at the train station and transfer to your hotel It includes breakfast OPTIONAL: You can make a second visit to Machu Picchu and have the opportunity to know more remote places such as Inti Punku (Puerta del Sol) or for more adventures you can take an excursion to the top of Huayna Picchu (mountain young man) to visit the Temple of the Moon and enjoy a spectacular view of the city. Or if you have good physical conditions you can take an adrenaline-filled hike to the opposite Putukusi mountain position from Machu Picchu that allows us to have other unforgettable views of this new wonder.
Day 10:
Sacred Valley
After your breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up at 08:15 am for a full day excursion through the Urubamba Valley visiting the colorful Indian market in Pisac where you will appreciate a mixture of color and tradition. Pisac is located at the entrance to the Sacred Valley followed by Ollantaytambo. Most people visit Pisac to see the market on Sundays, but there are smaller markets on both Tuesdays and Thursdays. However Pisac is a pretty town and has lots of small craft shops and is worth visiting on any day of the week it is a good place to shop for local pottery including a huge collection and varied range of multi-hand paintings colored beads. Lunch in a typical restaurant in Urubamba then we continue with Ollantaytambo, which is an attractive small town located at the western end of the Sacred Valley, considered the oldest continuously occupied city in the entire American continent, it is located near some spectacular Inca ruins that protected the strategic entrance to the lower part of the Urubamba valley. The narrow streets of Ollantaytambo, along with sub-channels that have not changed since Inca times, evoke their ancestral heritage, then we will end up visiting Chinchero. Chinchero is a small Andean Indian village located high up on the windswept plains of Anta at 3762masl about 30 km from Cusco and is believed to be the mythical birthplace of the rainbow. Its biggest draw for tourism is its colorful Sunday market which is much less tourist-oriented than the Pisac market. Final Transfer

Pick up of guests
Machu Picchu Vip can pick you up from your hotel, as long as it’s in the Historical Center of Cusco. Your guide will coordinate the pickup time in the briefing session, but please keep in mind that the time may vary between 20 and 35 minutes due to traffic.
Group Tours
Group tours are made up of different types of people, then physical conditions and ages can vary. By agreeing to be part of a group tour, you also accept that some people may be faster or slower than you. Therefore, each person can go at their own pace on the route. It may be the case that a group wishes to modify the tour; however, the guide will be the one who decides, after consulting with all the participants, if such modifications are possible.
Strikes in cusco
Are usually common in Peru, and this may interrupt some of our tours. Roads can be blocked, and train tracks can be taken over. However, we will try to keep your trip as originally planned, even if it means leaving the night before the scheduled date. Under these circumstances, tours may also be canceled. In case of changes or cancellations, everything will be coordinated with you by our operations department. Your safety is our highest priority, and our decisions will be made to protect it.
Lost objects
Please pay attention to where you leave your things and remember to take everything once you leave our transport, tents, or restaurants. You’re the only one responsible for your objects during the tour.
I can change or cancel my tour
Of course you can modify the date of your tour up to 24 hours before and you can cancel up to 15 days before, but there will be charges for administrative expenses
