DAY 1
  1. Pick up from the hotel
  2. Starting the tour we will pass through the entire sacred valley of the Incas
  3. Arrival at the highest point of Abra Malaga
  4. Starting point of the descent by bike of approximately 3 hours
  5. Arrival to the town of Huamanmarka
  6. Then we go to Santa Maria
  7. Possibility that passengers can practice this adventure sport (optional rafting)
  8. Our mobility will take us to San Pablo
  9. 1 hour walk to arrive at our lodge where we will spend the first night

 

DAY 2
  1. Tour start at 6:00 am
  2. During 4 to 5 hours we will arrive at the Salkantay mountain range
  3. Then we go to the Chaullay
  4. Then we go to Challacancha
  5. Within 5 hours of travel we will arrive at the base of the camp called Soraypampa
  6. Then we go to the humantay lagoon

 

DAY 3
  1. 6:30 a.m. we will start the walk in a jungle
  2. Then we go to the Hydroelectric
  3. Then we go to hot waters where he will spend the night
  4. Then we go to Challacancha
  5. Within 5 hours of travel we will arrive at the base of the camp called Soraypampa
  6. Then we go to the humantay lagoon

 

DAY 4
  1. 4:00 a.m. we will start the walk
  2. Then we go to Machu Picchu
  3. Then we return at 11:00 am to the Hydroelectric
  4. Then we return to the city of Cusco

Itinerary

Day 1:
Cusco - Bicycle - Santa Maria - Pispitayoc
We will pick you up from your hostel at 05:30 am and then start our tour of the Inca jungle to Machu Picchu for approximately 3 1/2 Hours passing through different micro climates and beautiful landscapes along the Sacred Valley of the Incas , thus reaching the highest point Abra Málaga (4350 masl). This is the starting point that was chosen to make the descent by bike for approximately 3 hours. At the time of making the descent by bicycle, we will pass through different ecosystems that characterize the Andes and the jungle, this activity concludes in the town of Huamanmarka, where we will have our lunch. After lunch our trip continues to Santa Maria, where there is the possibility that passengers can do this adventure sport (optional rafting) for 2 hours on the Urubamba River at a height of 1200 m.s.n.m. At the end of this adventure we will take our mobility again to go to the San Pablo sector, where we will start our walk for 1 hour until we reach our logde where we will spend our first night.
Day 2:
Pispitayoc - Thermal Baths - Santa Teresa - Walk
This day we will get up at 07:00 am to enjoy a good organic breakfast. This day we will start with a walk inside the jungle observing different varieties of plants and birds in the area such as orchids, fruits of the area, coca leaves, cocoa, oranges, etc. reaching an altitude of 1720 m.s.n.m. Throughout this journey we will do part of the Inca trail of approximately 1 ½ to the top of the jungle with its fantastic panoramic views. We will arrive at the village of Quellomayo where we will enjoy a delicious lunch. Then we continue with our trip until we reach the thermal baths of Santa Teresa (Cocal mayo) in this place we will have approximately 2:30 hours to relax. At sunset we will continue with the walk to the town of Santa Teresa (walking time 40 minutes). Arrival to Santa Teresa and overnight.
Day 3:
Santa Teresa - Hydroelectrica - Aguas Calientes
Today we will get up very early to have a delicious breakfast and continue with the walk, prior to this trek our guide will give us the option to take this adventure sport (Zip Line or Canopi, optional Tour), in case of not taking this option we will continue our trips to reach the hydroelectric plant, control place and lunch for the group. After our rest we continue the walk until we reach the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu) (Dinner and overnight).
Day 4
Machu Picchu - Cusco
At last, the day expected for all of us, unlike the other days, this day we will get up at 04:00 am, to start the walk to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu in order to observe the sunrise. The ascent takes 1 hour 45 minutes. Once we are in the archaeological park, our guide will give us a 2-hour guided information and we will visit the most important places of the Sanctuary such as: the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Solar Clock, the Royal Rooms, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Royal Cemeteries and much more. Then they will have free time to continue exploring, take their best pictures and enjoy the landscape that surrounds us. Average of 11:30 a.m. you have to walk down to the hydroelectric plant, on the average 3 hours there will be waiting for our transport who will return us to Cusco .

Pick up of guests
Machu Picchu Vip can pick you up from your hotel, as long as it’s in the Historical Center of Cusco. Your guide will coordinate the pickup time in the briefing session, but please keep in mind that the time may vary between 20 and 35 minutes due to traffic.
Group Tours
Group tours are made up of different types of people, then physical conditions and ages can vary. By agreeing to be part of a group tour, you also accept that some people may be faster or slower than you. Therefore, each person can go at their own pace on the route. It may be the case that a group wishes to modify the tour; however, the guide will be the one who decides, after consulting with all the participants, if such modifications are possible.
Strikes in cusco
Are usually common in Peru, and this may interrupt some of our tours. Roads can be blocked, and train tracks can be taken over. However, we will try to keep your trip as originally planned, even if it means leaving the night before the scheduled date. Under these circumstances, tours may also be canceled. In case of changes or cancellations, everything will be coordinated with you by our operations department. Your safety is our highest priority, and our decisions will be made to protect it.
Lost objects
Please pay attention to where you leave your things and remember to take everything once you leave our transport, tents, or restaurants. You’re the only one responsible for your objects during the tour.
I can change or cancel my tour
Of course you can modify the date of your tour up to 24 hours before and you can cancel up to 15 days before, but there will be charges for administrative expenses
